ORCHESTRA TRAINING PROGRAM - AUSTA REG'D

• Our orchestras are for students who have made a high-level of commitment to developing their musical skills. Suitable for students 7 - 18 years old. 
• They are eager to embrace new opportunities.  ​
• They focus on developing higher-level techniques, playing their parts, singing as a chorus, understanding musical concepts, and working closely as a team.
• They also play in competitions, and concerts and can earn awards.

CONCERTS

• Playing in a concert provides constant motivation to practice and improve by way of weekly rehearsals.
• Playing in a concert also helps students to develop their teamwork skills playing alongside their fellow musicians. 
• Concerts are a great experience for overall music development.
• Concerts also create opportunities for the whole family to be involved as performers and as audience.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• 1st Violin Grades 4 +
• 2nd Violin Grade 2 +  
• Viola Grade 2 + 
• Cello Grade 2 +  
• Graduates from our Beginner Strings Programs

COURSE PROGRAM INCLUDES

• High-Level Orchestra Training, Awards, Concerts, Competitions
• Graded Theory, Aural Training and Rhythmic Skills Development.
• Music Examinations (see music exams page).

Our Orchestra Training Program includes a comprehensive examination approach via the application of credits for orchestra training, live solo performance,  rehearsals, live group performances and competitions, in addition to aural development (via singing), technical work and theory requirements. Our fully comprehensive program offers real world applications from beginning to end. 

Further, all work covers a mix of various styles, periods, and genres. Aural Work and Rhythm Training is covered in weekly sessions. Our students work are encouraged towards improving their all-round skills in music education and performance with many of them gaining scholarships to private colleges and specialist music schools.

Our examinations all conducted internally and at any time; either at lessons or during Orchestra Training sessions. Our teachers are MIMEB accredited examiners.

On a final note: 

Exams, awards, orchestra training, concerts, competitions, and other instruction (theory, aural work, & rhythm training) are all included in the term fee. 

COURSE FEES:

• $300 Single per term
• $400 Family per term
•  $100 Concession per term
• 20 Scholarships are available for advanced students (Grade 6+). 

• Aged between: 12 - 18 -  Violin, Viola, 'Cello - Advanced students only.

• You have a can do attitude,  you assist where you can at section rehearsals, and are eager to learn all about conducting.

• You show exceptional skills,  your technique is down pat! 

Opportunities to perform on a regular basis, play in competitions, rehearse your section, earn leadership awards, earn higher level grades and diplomas, assist with concert management, marketing, conducting, etc.
